T-Mobile Offers Pro-Rated Early Termination Fees

T-Mobile will begin offering a pro-rated early termination fee (ETF) for subscribers who wish to cancel their service before their contract expires.

Currently, subscribers who wish to cancel their service before the contract is up are liable for an Early Termination Fee of $200 per line. However, effective June 28th, subscribers who wish to cancel their service with 180-91 days remaining in their contract will only pay $100. If you have 91-30 days, you pay $50, and if you wish to cancel your contract with less than 30 days left, the ETF is $50 or the amount of your average monthly bill, whichever is less.
