Opera Mini 4.1 is now available as a full release, having previously been available only as a beta product. Opera Mini 4.1 can now guess the URL you want when you enter a search term in the address bar, and it can also highlight terms on a Web page to let you zero in on most-wanted data bites. Other features:
Only Java-enabled cell phones supporting JSR-75 will be able to take advantage of uploading and downloading any file via Opera's mobile Web. BlackBerry devices older than 4.2, for instance, won't be able to support this promised windfall of a feature. Users will still need to equip the phone with the right media players and readers to view the downloaded files. Typically, Opera Mini is claimed to deliver the Web to your phone faster and display pages just as they would look from your desktop browser. With Opera Zoom, you can zero in on specific content while Opera Link (a new feature) helps synchronize your bookmarks and speed dial between all of your Web browsers for free. The first Opera Mini was launched worldwide in 2006; since then over 44 million people have used the software, claims Opera Software.
