HTC Touch Diamond in CDMA Version

HTC is releasing the first CDMA variant of the Touch Diamond with Telus of Canada. The CDMA Diamond appears to have the same screen and d-pad controller, with its touch sensitive zooming function, as the original, but the rest of the body appears to have been rounded out a bit.

The handset uses Opera web browser and features a VGA resolution touchscreen on-board.

Touch Diamond for Telus is powered by the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and is to go on sale later this summer for CA$149 with a new 3 year contract. Telus is planning to offer the device with some reasonable data packages that range from $15 per month for unlimited email and IM to $30 per month for unlimited email, IM, and web browsing.
